Judging the Handstrip and Clipped (other than Gundog) and Purebred Scissor categories is Bill Browne-Cole. Bill is the owner of 21-time English champion producing kennel Travella, and has judged the Terrier breeds at Crufts on many occasions.

Expert in poodles Corina Verschuren will judge the Clipped Terriers and Schnauzers and Poodle Scissor categories. Seven-time winner of a ‘Best in Show’ title, Corina is a poodle expert who was nominated for the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for International Groomer of the Year 2009.

New for 2012 is the Student and Newcomer category, entered exclusively by students from colleges and satellite centres who have studied in the last 12 months.

Chief executive of the BDGA and Pet Care Trust Janet Nunn said: “We’re delighted to provide the opportunity for colleges and satellites to demonstrate the efforts of their students and to celebrate the next generation of groomers at what will be another fantastic event.”
