Johnson’s Veterinary Products has increased its range with the introduction of a new paw and nose balm for dogs.
The balm is 100% natural and vegan-friendly and contains British aloe vera, vitamin E and UK-grown lavender.
The product is designed to be massaged into paws before and after walks to soothe sore, cracked pads and is also recommended to help moisturise dry dog noses.
Paul Gwynn, managing director, said: “For more than 100 years, Johnson’s has continued to innovate and manufacture the cost-effective pet healthcare products the public and their pets need, all available from pet shops and pet stores.
“Modern life, with salt on the roads, waterlogged walks and warm dry houses can take their toll on even the hardiest of dog breeds. We have designed this balm to help soothe sore pads and nourish dry noses.”
He added: “Understanding our responsibility to deliver an ever-increasingly sustainable range of products, whilst reducing the carbon footprint associated with their supply and manufacture, we sourced UK-grown lavender and aloe vera. The product is manufactured in the UK with reusable and recyclable packaging.
“We have re-visited our heritage to inspire our packaging, with a simpler design that echoes our earlier pet healthcare products, which will undoubtedly be recognised by many of our loyal customers who have relied on Johnson’s through the decades.”
