Fur Love has launched its first clinically tested skin, paw and coat solutions for dogs in the UK.
According to Fur Love, the botanical skincare products have been created to “gently and effectively combat the common skin and fur complaints that dogs are vulnerable to, without the need for expensive vet visits”.
The new product range includes a conditioning fur mask, fur and body dry oil, natural dog shampoo, lavender moisture balm, paw and body soak pouch and a micellar cleansing spritz.
Fur Love claimed that its products have been clinically proven to “improve acute, mild to moderate dog skin and paw problems by up to 87% within four days”.
Each product contains natural botanicals and oils, which peer-reviewed research has shown can “repair and maintain healthy skin barriers in dogs”.
The pet skincare brand revealed that dog skin and paw problems are the “most common reason for vets visits, costing the UK’s 12.5 million dog owners hundreds of pounds each year”.
It said that Dr Ineke and her team at Fur Love have avoided ingredients that may be harmful for dogs and have worked closely with research technicians and vets, and conducted clinical trials.
She said: “Dogs are part of the family, and they depend on us to keep them healthy and well. They live with us, share our homes and share our lives. They also need quality skin and body care, just like us.”
