Everything Guinea Pigs has launched its new guinea pig shampoo.
The new shampoo is plant-based, vegan friendly and has a low lather formula.
It is formulated with a blend of pH balanced cleansing, moisturising and conditioning agents which is suitable for guinea pigs with sensitive skin.
According to Everything Guinea Pigs, the pH balanced moisturising ingredients help “maintain and replenish the skin’s natural lipid balance, preventing dryness or irritation”.
The shampoo also has a subtle eucalyptus scent and contains natural ingredients that “gently cleanse the fur without stripping it of its natural oils and nutrients”.
The 100ml bottles are made from recycled plastic and are fully recyclable after use.
The shampoo is described as suitable for all guinea pigs, however animals under 12 weeks old and pregnant sows should not be bathed unless directed by a veterinary professional.
