Denzel’s launches new training bites

According to the company, the small bite-sized pieces are ‘perfect for training’- with approximately 110 rewards per pack

Pet food brand Denzel’s has launched new ‘soft ‘n’ squishy’ training bites for puppies after Google searches for “buying a new puppy” increased 166% since lockdown was announced last March.

Suitable for puppies aged from eight weeks to 12 months old, the new recipe is made with “peanut butter, sweet potato and salmon, and is high in omega-3s to help with cognitive and retinal development, which has been said to increase trainability”.

According to the company, the small bite-sized pieces are “perfect for training” -with approximately 110 rewards per pack.

The product is baked in the UK using eco-friendly ovens with the company only using “100% natural ingredients, sustainably sourced from local suppliers with no preservatives, additives or fillers”.

James Lacy, co-founder of Denzel’s, said: “11% of households have welcomed a dog into their household over the past year, so there’s been a huge demand for puppy specific treats. Having a low-calorie treat to incentivise puppies is really important, especially whilst they are developing and learning.”

“The bites come in plastic-free, biodegradable and home compostable pouches which are also resealable. Eco-conscious dog-owners can rest assured knowing the pouch breaks down in landfill within 30 weeks vs over 300 years for regular single-use plastics.”
