Forthglade launches new recipes for puppies and old dogs

Pet food manufacturer Forthglade has launched a new line of grain free and whole grain meals aimed at puppies and older dogs.

Forthglade’s range of natural meals for puppies contain 75% high quality protein and the grain free complete meals include chicken with liver or lamb with liver recipe, each combined with sweet potato and vegetables.

The recipes also include omega three to aid brain development, chondroitin and glucosamine for young joints and bones, and prebiotic chicory root extract for healthy digestion.

Two other new whole grain recipes are now available with oats including chicken or duck combined with oats and vegetables.

The new recipes for senior dogs aged 7+ have 60% protein, 15% less fat than the adult dog recipes. The grain free range includes lamb or turkey combined with butternut squash.

Whole grain meals are available with white fish or lamb, plus brown rice and vegetables. The
senior recipes have higher levels of chondroitin and glucosamine for healthy joints and
bones, omega three to maintain good cognitive function, and chicory root extract for healthy
digestion.
