Postman Pooch donates Easter treats to Dogs Trust

The Lancashire-based pet supply business gave some dog-friendly chocolate eggs to the charity’s branch in Manchester

Ahead of the Easter weekend, Postman Pooch delivered 45 dog-friendly Easter eggs to Dogs Trust’s branch in Manchester.

Founded in 2018 by Kyle Lovett-Blackwell and Ben Millar, Postman Pooch offers gifts, treats, and toys for dogs.

On why he donated to Dogs Trust, Millar said: “When we launched Postman Pooch, it was always our aim to help out with local and national charities and several times each year, we have donated to rescue centres.

“It’s great to provide tail-wagging treats to pooch’s but equally important to raise the profile of and educate people about the importance of dog adoption.”

Lovett-Blackwell said: “Ben and I thought it would be a great way to give back to the community and share our love for dogs by giving out Easter eggs to rescue dogs that may not have had the best time and that need some joy bringing to their lives.

“Rescue centres do fantastic work, and sadly they have been busier than ever throughout this pandemic. So, we want to do anything possible to help support them during the Easter break.”

Rebecca Smith, kennel manager at the charity, said: “We really appreciate the donations we’ve received from pet care brands as they understand the welfare of these dogs.

“We are really grateful that Ben and Kyle took the time to put together these items and bring them over to us for our dogs to enjoy during the Easter break.”
