Caroline Burke, weight management specialist at ROYAL CANIN, said: “We have recognised the need to provide further education to support the veterinary profession to help understand the serious nature of obesity and how to communicate this to pet owners.”

She added: “The Weight Management Congress is the latest tool in our Weight Management Academy, and we look forward to inviting and welcoming both veterinary nurses and surgeons to the Nottingham Belfry to learn more about this incurable disease. At the end of the two days we hope that all attendees will feel more confident in recognising and managing obesity back in practice.”
