Preston Pets at Home re-opens amid refurbishment

Pets at Home’s Preston premises has re-opened after a recent refurbishment, adding a new vet and grooming service to the store’s offerings.

It revealed the new surgery Vets4Pets has relocated from Moor Lane, comprising a team of “highly skilled vets and experienced nurses” on hand to support pets with healthcare needs.

According to the brand, specialist advisors are set to help customers with flea and worm subscription advice, weight checks and nutritional consultations, and coat and harness fitting for dogs.

Pets at Home has also said customers will be able to use the dog self-wash station at the grooming salon.

The new salon is open seven days a week and provides services for dogs, including full grooms, spa treatments, puppy grooming and nail clipping.

Neil Farr, store manager, said: “We can’t wait to welcome our customers and their pets into our revamped pet care centre and to introduce them to our new services. We really do offer everything you need to keep pets happy, healthy and safe.

“Whether it’s helping with fitting a new winter jacket, booking an appointment with our vet team or accessing our grooming services, our team are always on hand to offer expert pet care advice, support and guidance.”
