HiLife’s New Dish Shortlisted for Product Innovation Award

The new HiLife FEED ME! dog food from Town and Country Pet Foods has been nominated for a national award in product innovation. The Leicestershire based firm is among the finalists in the 2014 PetQuip Awards with the HiLife FEED ME! Something Special range which features slices of sausage.

The range has been developed to offer a rich source of meat protein combined with selected carbohydrates and essential fatty acids with added vitamins. Made in the United Kingdom, this 800g range contains two recipes – Chicken & Lamb and with Beef & Chicken.

Peter Parkinson, HiLife marketing director said it is something he is very proud of: ‘We’re all really pleased to have made the shortlist in the PetQuip Awards. A dog food containing slices of sausage is something that’s never been seen before on the UK market, and we’re delighted to be the first pet food company to make this happen.

‘We really wanted to build on our FEED ME! range which is the fastest growing semi-moist dog food in the UK* so a lot of planning has gone into this product to make sure we’ve got it right.’

FEED ME! Something Special is available in handy resealable bags with a shelf life of 12 months. The food comes in bright, eye-catching packaging, aimed to maximise on-shelf impact and has a low case count, making it cost effective for retailers to stock.

An independent panel will judge all the finalists in the PetQuip Awards and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Harrogate on 14th September.
