PetSafe® Brand launches new Microchip Cat Flap

PetSafe® Brand has launched its new cat door, the PetSafe® Microchip Cat Flap.

Simple to install, the door has been designed to give cats easy access to the outside world while keeping out troublesome unwanted cats and other animals.

The PetSafe® Microchip Cat Flap reads a cat’s unique microchip ID and doesn’t require the cat to wear an additional collar or accessory. Suitable for cats up to 8kg, it can be programmed for up to 40 microchipped cats, making it acceptable for both single and multi-cat homes.

Featuring a built-in draught excluder, the PetSafe® Microchip Cat Flap is designed to be secure. It includes a reinforced dual auto-latch with a four-way manual lock. Furthermore, it’s suitable for almost any type of door or window, as well as brick walls.

Angela Critchley, international marketing director for PetSafe® Brand said: “As a business we strive to build products that enhance the relationships between owners and their pets and this cat flap does just that; people can give their pets freedom while having peace of mind there won’t be any unwanted visitors.

“We’ve spent months developing this new addition to our cat flap range and are delighted to be launching it at PATS Telford.”

The PetSafe® Microchip Cat Flap has an RRP of £79.99. It is available now at petsafe.com/UK and can be stocked by retailers. To view the PetSafe® Brand Microchip Cat Flap video and learn more about the product visit https://youtu.be/ncIU1urCBnE.
